Cost guess/estimate
I need fast figures for my boss to throw to the new owners about our planned expenditures over the next 3 years. can anyone give me any idea what it would cost to implement voip for about 200-250 users. we currently have a definity g3i r12. They were told 100k for cisco earlier today but we dont have any way of validating the numbers. Any info at all would be useful. i am printing other threads to review and discuss with him. it seems there is a LOT to consider, but like i said we just need big round numbers to throw at them temporarily

Re: Cost guess/estimate
Most of the cost of implementing an IP solution is phones. Cisco phones will cost you anywhere from 350 and up, depending on the style and discount you get from your reseller.
Check out Shoretel, too, if you're doing system comparisons. they're getting really strong reviews from their customers - even ahead of avaya and cisco. Study Reveals Surprising Reasons For ShoreTel's Surge - VoIP News
