Re: Modular Messaging(MM)

I am answering because you posted this yesterday and no one has said anything yet.

I am out of touch with MM so it may be possible (I doubt it, but I could be wrong) but here is what you will need to consider. Everybody's mailbox will have to be in both machines so you would have to administer both machines equally (the licenses will need to be large enough for this). Both MMs will need to be networked together with access by both PBX's.

I doubt if someone leaves a message that it will be recorded in both machines so your users will have to check both MMs for messages, I am not sure if the remote MM will turn on the MWI. And if it is on, how do you know which MM turned it on? You will probably need DCS active for this.

Intuity cannot do this and when I was working on MM systems it was not possible. But, as I said, I am out of touch with the latest MM software so if someone wants to tell me I am wrong then proceed to tell you how; I welcome their input.

Re: Modular Messaging(MM)

I make sure it possible. example, there is two offices one office's MSS and MAS, one more office's MSS only. if someone leave a messages you know it will be recorded to MSS. if either MAS's not available media gateway will be rerouting to other MAS. also if MSS is not available MAS own recordable about 70 hours(offline access to call answer messages) and if it available transfer recorded data to MSS. but must meet the following, MM's software is 3.0 or greater and configured between MAS grouping/routing and MSS, media gateway.
I'll let you know in the result....

Thank you.
