Setup 3631 Wireless Phones

I am trying to setup my phones also, but im finding it hard to get it working. I've only gotten to the point where it is trying to obtain an IP address from the DCHP server and can't. My network people haven't been much help. Any advice? any setting i need to correct? I have a G3r v11.

Did you ever figure this out? These are great phones, but there are many settings you need to make sure are correct.

What sort of DHCP server are you using?

Re: Setup 3631 Wireless Phones

Ignore the above post, the site admin must have a stupid filter blocking URL links.

You need to have option 242 defined in the DHCP scope. The Avaya Support site details exactly what needs to be setup. I have my 9600 IP Phone working off DHCP (they also use option 242) and when I powered up my first 3631, it pulled an IP the very first time.

Check out the site and you will get what you need.
