Half duplex audio on conf calls using VoIP phones
Hi there,
Not sure if this is a VOIP issue or a meeting place issue. But increasingly we are noticing a Quality/Contention issue. When 2 people each talk on our Avaya 4621 VOIP phones on MeetingPlace conference calls their speech cancels each other out. We are running a S8700 system, R013x.00.1.346.0 and this problem is only happening at just one of our many VoIP sites (at least that's the only one where people are complaining, anyway), making this even more odd. Regular VoIP calls, even on speaker, do not seem to be affected. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks in advance!

Re: Half duplex audio on conf calls using VoIP phones
Well, I've heard that conference calls use multicast on the IP network. You could check to make sure multicast is enabled on the network equipment for this office.
