Cisco IP Phone with ACM 3.1

I recently obtained a Cisco CP-7970G IP Phone and was going to try to get it to work with my 8710/3.1. Does anyone have any experience with Cisco IP phones working with the MedPro or any advice they would like to share. I've heard it can be done but have not tried as of yet.

I've heard that ACM 3.1 includes proprietary Cisco SIP MWI protocol and you simply download Cisco SIP firmware to the TFTP server and reboot the phone and it will come up as SIP.

Thanks!
