Overhead paging over IP
Has anyone found a solution for driving overhead paging over IP. We are trying to make overhead paging work at one of our remote sites. However,it seems that if it is a multiple zone paging system our VOIP phones dial tones are not recognized. So when we dial into our paging we enter the zone we want to page to, but no matter what we push on our dial pad the pager does not allow the paging to go thru.

Try Valcom (www.valcom.com) then choose VOIP and Products.....you can call them, tell them your application, and they will advise what you need. It will be some combination of VIP-800's 801's, etc.
