Post Save on Directory Assistance

I was asked to post this by a member:
-----------------------------------------------------------
WHAT IF YOU COULD SAVE 50%…
By George Young, Vice President, Corporate Telecom Solutions

…or more on your monthly Directory Assistance costs in as little as 30 minutes? Would you do it? Is it worth the time?

A simple change in your ARS pattern would allow you to route all 411, 555-1212 and NPA 555-1212 calls to an alternative Directory Assistance Service provider that could often save you 50% or more, on your outdialed DA costs. The transition is completely transparent to the end user, no change in their dialing pattern whatsoever. And the quality of the service is excellent! All calls are answered at a live Operator position, you can still receive up to two queries per call, and Call Completion is blocked for even greater savings! So why wouldn’t you do it?

A further incentive may be to take a look at your current monthly DA expenses. It doesn’t take many calls to end up spending $250 per month or more. And at a time when many companies are looking to save money wherever they can, every little bit helps. We’ve talked in previous articles about how tariffs are constantly on the rise for this service. IXC rates are now as high as $2.49 per call, and with LEC’s pushing hard on de-tariffing you can expect to see these rates going higher and higher. Many LEC’s have now consolidated their two tier 411 tariffs to one rate, often at $0.95 to $1.25 per call. And with Verizon and SBC pushing hard on de-tariffing, who knows how high these will go!

For some in-depth information on how our Directory Assistance Service works, take a look at www.corporatetel.com and click on Products. If you would like us to send you some information, contact me at young@corporatetel.com or call 215.793.4880.
