Does anyone deal with MCI on a large scale, large being about 400 locations Nationwide. A customer of mine is thinking about having MCI handle all of their local telco service, I told my customer that probably would not be a good idea considering that MCI is mostly a third-party company, and can't deliver the customer and technical service that AT&T, Bell South, Verizon has. Does anyone have any views on this?

MCI in some areas of the country provide excellent services. I manage a very large network and do not have one company as a local provider.
This sometimes creates a management nightmare when there are problems.
So, though we are nationwide company we wanted to limit the local vendors to those who provide the best service. Ultimately, I have 5 local service providers.SBC, MCI, Verizon, Bell South, Qwest. Though I have problems with Bell South I am not ready to move my Southeast offices to Qwest.
Basically, I am saying, find out who can provide the best service for the areas in question.
