Thanks! Anyone know why Avaya refuses to count training taken through Summaria??

I attended the IP Class with Summaria and it took 6 months before the recognized the training. I had the same instructor as a friend who went to an avaya class.

I took an installing G3R class and they wont count it on my record. I put in a trouble ticket to Avaya University and it went no where. They told me there were contract problems. They told me to just take the assesment.

I was told the same thing. My boss got ahold of our Avaya rep and they finally had the issue resolved. Are you an Avaya Business Partner?

Depend who you talk to. I do have BP access to the AU site though. Our contacts contiually change.
I did start taking the assesment courses.

well now you only get one chance to take assessment test then you have to go to the school

I think Avaya needs to rethink this. One of the first questions they ask you is why are you taking the assessment. One answer is to assess your readiness for the course. I think one time is not enough.

I am sure bummed. I live in Chicago and we used to have Training Center here. Now I would have to fly someplace and the chances of that are slim to none... what's this about one time only??? I haven't tried in a few weeks.

Avaya U, changed the policy, You can take an assessment test only one time, if you fail then you have to take the class, and right now that I am aware if you pass the assessment test you still DONT GET CREDIT,, you just get that you took the class..

Avaya used to let you take the assessment tests as many times as you wanted. Now you can only take it one time. We are located in Indianapolis. Sometimes we have people come here to conduct training. I'll post something here if we have anything.

Where do I find the assessments? What should I start with? I've taken regular admin, ars and wcr and vectoring so far...
