Thanks for confirming that for us, Phone dude. I've been told it's something to do with the fact that most laptop internal modems are winmodems....

Re: R6 PC Administration

Get yourself a good 3Com/US Robotics modem for your laptops PCMIA slot. I use a USR 3056 and have no problems connecting with any telecom equipment. I use it for Partner ACS, Norstar RADs, Vodavi, and several voicemail systems. No problems!

Re: R6 PC Administration

I connected successfully for the fist time last night. Was not pretty. Acuttlually connect all 3 ways after intial direct dial. Set the remote password.

Next you need to set a extension to have an intercom dial tone. 307? So that when the modem picks up you have the intercom. Then dial 76. That was the trick and aslo finding the username and password. Let me know if this helps.

Re: R6 PC Administration

I FOUND A BUG!

I just talked with a (former) tier 3 AVAYA tech. Some crap about the guys that wrote the program were from Australia and they were using weird modm drivers.

BLAH BLAH.

Once you have the most current version of Pc Admin (v6.0.0.11) UNINSTALL your modem drivers and reboot the pc. Once the pc comes back up, it will automatically reinstall the drivers. Fixed my problem on all 3 computers.
