Post Partner 6.0

Has anyone installed the Partner 6.0? I think there will be a big market for it with the T1 module.

6.0 is what is shipping now, so I have put in a few. The only thing I saw new while stepping through the menus from Ext. 10 was the Hold Recall Time. The T1 parameters have to be programmed from the R6 remote administration software.

The only problem with the T1 is finding a carrier that will provide a fractional T1. SBC/Pacific Bell doesn't offer it here in Calif. Some CLECs might do it, probably offering the customer Internet access with the left-over channels.

Partner 6.0 has T1 module, DID Service and Unified Messaging. Looks like Avaya is trying to make a PBX out of it.

What would the purpose of the T1 card be? Most carriers dont carry fractional T1's. Why not go with the cheaper frame over dsl?
