Port
I have a partner system and I have an 18D phone that when I plug into the wall only gets power and grabs dialtone but not on the 5 lines that go into the system. When I press the buttons where those lines are I get nothing.. not even a light. I tried various line cords, different phone, changed the patch cable on the patch panel and still same deal. I also plugged directly into various spare ports and had the same issue, but when I plugged directly into a port that had a working phone on it, it was fine. So I'm assuming the ports aren't provisioned.. how does that get done?

Re: Port
Probably this particular extension doesn't have the same lines assigned to it as the other phones do.
Use the Copy feature (#399) to copy an extension that already works to the one that doesn't Once you're in System Programming, dial #399, then the model telephone's extension number, then the target telephone's extension number. |
