Need help with a ACS 3.0
I recently upgraded from a 2 slot carrier to a 5 slot carrier and need some help with trying to add an additional 308EC card. I currently have the system working normal in the new carrier with the procedssor card in the center slot and the original 308ec card in far left slot and 25 extensions. Everything works perfect until I try to add the new card. Adding the new card created several problems with the existing extensions. Is there some programming that needs to be done to add the new card?
Thanks Steve |

Re: Need help with a ACS 3.0
There's nothing you need to do. The ACS gives you Ext. 10-17, the 308 in the 1st (leftmost) slot gives you Ext. 18-25, and the new 308 in slot 2 gives you Ext. 26-33. Obviously, Ext. 26-33 will come up in their default mode, and the easiest way to deal with them is to copy (#399) from one of the other existing extensions to the new ones, and then manually add the soft buttons.
Now, what problems were created for the existing extensions by adding the new card?? |

Re: Need help with a ACS 3.0
I thought that was the way it worked, but wasn't positive. When I plug the card in to the carrier there are several ext's that will not break a dial tone and a couple that lose dial tone and can't be called. And they are never the same ones. Is it possible that I have a bad card? Thank you for your help with this
