Replace the 2 AA batteries in the processor, WITHOUT turning the power off, or you will lose all you programming.
Before you replace the batteries, do a manual backup. At Ext. 10 or 11, press Feature and dial 00 Press the LEFT Intercom button TWICE Dial #124 Find the button located the in 4th column, 3rd button down. The display will say "Backup in Progress" When it says "Backup Complete", press Feature and dial 00 Now go to the phone system. Look for the ACS processor, it will be grey in color, and either all by itself, the module mounted closest to the wall, or the center module in the carrier. The battery compartment is located at the bottom, by the "hook" where the telephone cords wrap around. Push the black clip in and up. The batteries come out with the cover. Replace them and reinstall the cover. The Battery display should change to the normal date and time. |
