Turning off the lights
Does anyone know if there is a way to disable the lights on a 18d phone? Strange question, but that is what I was asked. LED lights and the display. I would think not, but I could be wrong.

Re: Turning off the lights
Yes - sell them an analog phone with speed dial buttons.

Re: Turning off the lights
How about an 18-button NON-display set, then remove the plastic and desi, use black electrical tape to cover the LEDs, and then reassemble the faceplate?
Guess it could be for a darkroom?? |

Re: Turning off the lights
With the handset in the cradle, press the "*" button, then use the volume up and down buttons to adjust the backlight for the display. Should be able to turn it all the way off.
