Is Partner ACS a "digital PBX"?
Seems like this should be a simple answer, but I can't find it ANYWHERE on the avaya website.
I need to know because I want to hook up a Tivo, but they say specifically "do not use a digital PBX- will fry the internal modem." Many thanks! edited because of too many spelling problems Last edited by sophitje; September 7th, 2004 at 02:02 PM. |

Re: Is Partner ACS a "digital PBX"?
The answer is "yes and no". All ports are universal - meaning you can hookup a "digital" keyset (actually a digitally enhanced tip ring port but that's another discussion) OR an analog device such as a modem or visa machine.
In other words go ahead and connect your device. Peter |
