I currenlty have a vms set to hunt group call ext 7. This makes the end user have to eitehr dial there extsion or press #. Why in the would woul dyou have to do that? Anybody ever setup a speed dial to do this so the user goes directly into their voice mail box? Every other system I have installed goes to the mail box.

Re: 1 Button voice mail access
If I understand you correctly, you have a button programmed to dial 777, the voicemail answers and prompts the user to enter their extension number?
No, you cannot have it assume they want the mailbox for the extension they are calling from unless they dial the #. Just the way the partner and merlin vms's work. Peter |
