Norstar hung line
If you call into my Nortel Norstar CICS 4.0 and let the AA answer and immediately hang up, the system keeps the line off hook for 120 seconds.
It used to tie it up for 15 seconds but recently we lost our entire config and started over. This is one of the last issues we have yet to figure out. |

Nortel and the Carrier call it Supervision Disconnect, however some line carriers now call it Cut Off on Disconnect....mention both if you need to call your carrier.
Programming is under each Line, set Surpervision to equal Yes Most tech will do this when they change the Pulse to Tone, perhaps they forgot. If still an issue with set to Yes and carrier says their end is ok then you could go into hardware settings of that card and change the DICSON timer until it works how you want. |
