MICS 5.0 w/ PRI
Is there anyway possible to have an extension that does not have a physical phones associated with it, but does have a mailbox on the system have its on target line? The customer wants to have this so that an oustide caller can call into the did for the guest mailbox and then set the mailbox to outbound message notification to the sales rep cell phone. The only way i see possible for this to work is they have to have a phone plugged in, because when i tried without a phone being present the call could not be completed. and i am sure it is because they are using a pri. and the rcvd digits don't see their destination. I just don;t know of another way to accomplish this.

Re: MICS 5.0 w/ PRI
I can't remember but if the DID's are given a line number ie. 020 or something like that, you could set it up as a menu service. Set the line to auto answer by voicemail as opposed to relying on the internal extension having a phone plugged in. This is probably not the case though or the whole PRI shared channel thing is wasted but you never know. Take a peek at the line programming and see what you can find.
Is the mail service a call pilot or NVM?
