PRI / DID question
Hello All,
I am using the trial by fire method to learn how to do PRIs... I am installing an MICS with 7.1 software, a 6 port combo card, two DTI cards with 2 PRIs and a block of 100 DIDs on each PRI. The system also has 1 Anaolg Mod, 1 Trunk Mod with 3 LS cards, and 4 station mods. As I'm going through renaming my target lines to match the associated DID, I just realized that there are not enough target lines in the system to match my entire DID range... Now what do I do? Thanks!

Re: PRI / DID question
Math isn't bad... it was just an overly thought out plan by the user. It's a new medical clinic. They wanted to have 7 "pods" each with a range of 25-30 numbers. While they aren't using them all, it was actually cheaper for us to just by a range of 200 DIDs since we get special billing rates as a hospital. It was also easier in the long run to just get the number range as it also integrates with our Centrex network covering two counties (they like to sell off our # ranges if we don't use them, then play dumb when we need more numbers). The extra numbers are currently just tranferring to the various Prime sets in each pod until growth requires their usage.
