I just realized that my SMDR5 is not working or at least not sending the info to my computer. does anyone knows how to make some tests to see if it works?

i already tried on 3 different computers and 2 different cables.

so far this is what i found! and now is working!

by some reason using 3 different computers and trying to receive data from SMDR5 through parallel port it just didn't work. I also tried several cables and same problem.

What i did was to get a db25 to db9 converter and configure computer to receive data from SMDR5 using com1 and that worked.
