Build mail box on option 11c without a phone

Can anyone tell us if you can build a mailbox on the mermail 12 without a phone and still leave and retrieve messages? Thanks for your help.

Trish,
I am pretty sure you can do that. If you need to be able to call the mailbox to leave messages as if there was a phone you can enter an ACD que using the DN you want for your mailbox, just set the NCFW prompt to your standard voicemail access number and it will transfer into the mailbox. Make sure to set the mailbox to NOT activate the MWI on the phone since there is no phone, if you do you get a ERR4019 in the PBX.
