Hi,
I have a customer who has just installed an LDP-7000 but the engineer they had as part of the install does not seem to be that fluent with TAPI. Being a 3rd party maintainer for their IT hardware (and personally having good Avaya experience) I would like to be able to resolve their TAPI issues on this system. The TAPI driver they have been given only seems to support the LDK-50/100/300/600/24/828/20 sustems or the iPECS-300. Is this driver going to work with the LDP 7000 or do they need another driver? If so, any pointers as to where I might be able to download it from. Thanking you in advance! Paul Bouzan. EDIT: At risk of sounding a little daft I think I may have not identified the systems correctly so this post may be a little wrong! (I'm not a Nortel tech by any way, shape or form!). Awaiting the client phoning me with updated info. Last edited by PaulBouzan; January 29th, 2007 at 08:53 AM. |

Re: LG/Nortel LDP 7000 TAPI Drivers
OK, digging deeper the system is an LG/Norstar LDK-20.
It would appear that the TAPI driver is not seeing the phone system although the network it is all sitting on is very uncomplicated and nothing weird or wonderful exists other than three PC's, the LDK-20 and a bog-standard 2Wire ADSL router. All we seem to get in the About box of the TAPI driver where it says "Current MP Version" is Unknown. Is this a licence key issue? Does TAPI need to be specified as an additional option? I would appreciate any insight into this if anyone more knowledgeable on Norstar systems can help! Regards Paul. |
