MICS software upgrade question
I have a bunch of MICS with 4.0 or earlier. If I back them up via the RAD, then upgrade the software to 7.1, can I then re-upload the old programming, or will I have to start from scratch and rebuild the whole system? Thanks!

Re: MICS software upgrade question
You should always keep your systems backed up, but to upgrade you will need an upgrade tool. If you follow the directions when you use this tool the programming will be retained.

Re: MICS software upgrade question
Great...this is just what I was looking for. We do have everything backed up, I'm just concerned about the actual upgrade. Where do I get the tool? Is it availbale from Nortel or is it a 3rd party product? Any cost involved? Thanks again!
