hello, I have a customer that has a norstar 6x16 NT5B01 phone system and I'm in need of the the programming and installation manual.

I've checked on the web, but can't seem to find them. Am I missing something or are they not freely avaiable?

Install manuals are generally not available to anyone but certified installers IE the Nortel licensed company. Admin books are not as controlled. The reason is most service providers do not allow access to the Configuration level since it can cause serious issues if you make a mistake. As the owner of the equipment you can request the service provider give you your install books that came with your 6x16 and give you access to t he config programming. This normally allows the vendor to say your mainenance contract is void if you cause the problem. If you are not on maintenance check with a local installer and see if they have an old manual to "give/sell" you.
