Resetting Norstar Voice Mail

Resetting Voice Mail WILL delete all previous programming and any messages in the system.

Press "Feature" 9 8 3

Enter the System Coordinator Mailbox number and password
then press "OK"

Enter 1 ( This is a hidden menu number )

Enter 734678255 (REINSTALL) and press "OK"

In the display it will say " Reset Database ? "

Press "YES"

Then the voicemail begins to reset itself (The display reads "Resetting..... )

Go get some coffee or go to the bathroom, it can take a while to reset.

When it is done resetting the display will say " System Ready" and then it will "EXIT"

Your now ready to Initalize the mail.

This can be dangerous. Do you need to log into the system first or is this it?

Dangerous? I guess maybe in the hands of tech that doesn't know much. Thats why I did not include the actual default passwords to access it. This forum is for Tech's right so I just thought I would post something that was helpfull. If I crossed any boundries I will gladly take this down.....
