Bcm 400 ?????
Does anybody know anything about the BCM 400 system? I have never worked on one and I'm having a problem with the "Call Pilot" stoping every 24 hrs and won't come back on line unless I cycle the power. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is a recall on Base Function Trays on certain versions. Nortel has put out a bulletin on this (ref # 2005006002) There appears to be a problem with capacitors leaking. I just recently replaced one on a BCM 400 version 3.0. Nortel will replace as long as you meet their qualifications. My system was dropping like every hour and a reboot would restore service to the Call Pilot till the next crash. Let me know if you need a PDF of the bulletin. Hope this helps.
