Hunt groups
I am trying to set up Hunt Groups, but am new to this, so I'm having a little trouble. I've read the MICS Systems Coordinator guide on how to set up the groups and I think that part is ok. I think my problem is with assigning lines to the hunt group. This is what I want to happen: I want 3 phones to be in hunt group. When person calls they get AA and then press ext. 235 to get certain dept. I want 235, 236, and 239 to be in the Hunt group, so that if 235 is busy or doesn't answer then caller gets routed to 236..... Queue time out is set to 60 sec, so if noone answers I need it to roll to voicemail.
An help with this would be appreciated. Thanks, mjacobs |

Re: Hunt groups
You can't have extension 235 be the DN for the hunt group and be a member of the hunt group. Add your extensions as members of the hunt group, make it broadcast, assign the lines to the hunt group or create a CCR tree in your auto attendant that directs a path to the hunt group.
