Forward to outside number (eg.Cell phone)
Can anyone tell me if it is possible, and if so, how, to forward an my desk phone to an outside number such as my cell phone? Norstar Meridian Modular ICS System with 1-T1 module, M7310 Desksets, Repartee Voicemail. I seem only to be able to forward my phone to another internal extension. (The "Forward on no Answer" is set to the lead number of the Voicemail hunt group).
Thanks, |

Re: Forward to outside number (eg.Cell phone)
The call forwarding your talking about would occur when someone calls you and gets your voicemail and in the middle of your greeting presses the 7 on the dial pad and tranfers to your cell phone? Is that what your asking? If so that is a feature you use inconjuction with your voicemail system and I am not familiar with repartee. Provided you had a NAM or a CallPilot no sweat but with a different Mfg I don't know what to tell you.
Sorry

Our current Norstar programming is set up to "forward on no answer" to an internal extension that happens to be the lead number in the hunt group for our Voicemail. I have not been successful in changing that number from an internal extension number to an external number, such as my cell phone. (I don't have a manual....so I'm just trying different ideas.....ya I know...YIKES!) Normally we dial 9 to get to ano outside line. Replacing the 3 digit internal extension with an number other than the first digit of an internal extension, is rejected. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance, Spike ![]() |

in capabilities, have you tried setting your phone to allow redirect? (Y) this feature works on software 6 and above. You then just need to do a call forward (F4) to whatever external number you want.
