Meridan SMDR Documentation

Looking for source of SMDR documentation for Meridan opt 21. Have encountered slight variations in ouput format for different software versions and would like to know if variations are due to user configuration options or software version.

A free copy of our call accounting/management reporting software to the members who provide info.

Thumbs up Re: Meridan SMDR Documentation

I'm new to this site. I could have used a site like this 5, 10, 15, 20 years ago, because that's how long I have been dealing with SMDR / CDR.

Anyway, I have a PDF file of Meridian X11 Release 25 which is dated April 2000. I have found throughout the years that the format has stayed the same, but the way it is programmed changes the format. The most obvious is the AUXID in the CDB. You can either include it or not, but it definitely changes the record. Also there is a CDRE prompt which either includes the DN before the extension or not. This allows for up to 7 digit extensions if the DN doesn't come out; otherwise it is just the last four digits of the extension.

Then in LD 17, there is the FCDR prompt for either NEW or OLD format and also DUR5, which if YES adds a .n to the duration field. Also CLID which will add a second line if PRI / ANI is active for incoming calls.

Let me know if you want me to E-mail you the PDF file or I guess I could attach it to my next reply if you still want it.

Sincerely,

Robert W. Edwards

Re: Meridan SMDR Documentation

Thanks for the SMDR info. Please send the SMDR you have file so I can compare it to the ones we have. Send to klm@voicetrakvm.com.

After I receive your file I will reply with how to download a copy of our call accounting and management reporting software.
