Hello All,

Is it at all possible to program a button on a M7324 that turns on call forwarding to a specific telephone number.

In other words the button = Feature 4 and the telephone number 4107521111

If this is possible, I would like to program another with # Feature 4.

P.s. We use Compact ICS 6.1 and Voice Mail 4.0

no CFW is for internal... You need cfw on your trunk and use external speed dial
Feature *2 (I think it's 2 may be 1) then select line then *72 xxx xxx xxxxx
and another with *73

we have CFW-ed to external lines before.

when you set up the CFW key, set the length to 16 then CFW to the number exactly as it would dial from the phone.

key XX cfw 16

we actually had someone on the shop use this to call an external number from a restricted internal only phone, so use with care.

you are talking about cfw in an option PBX ....This user has a 7324 ...That is a phone used by
a norstar key system ......on the norstar the CFW feature is for internal only ....
you must have cfw on the trunks from the telco to forward out of the system and you are forwarding
the trunk and not the set....

as long as your at 4.0 and are using routing you can external call forward but its a 2 step process f 4 then the number you can try programming a key with the number but i dont think it will work...
