Legend Conf. calls

When using the conference feature on our Merlin Legend, about two minutes into the call, a sudden VERY loud high pitch noise comes on the line making it impossible to talk.

Any idea what may be causing it?

What types of lines are being used? T1 or pots. Have you narrowed it down to either? Is it happening on every call? All extensions?

I've run into this before on a Magix, and upgrading the firmware on the individual modules solved it. Some of the legend modules were similiarly upgradable, try upgrading anything you can and see if it goes away...
