Question Magix processor won't go Hybrid/PBX Mode

I cannot set a Magix R3.0 V7.0 processor to Hybrid/PBX or Key mode.
It is stuck in behind the switch mode.

When I select Hybrid mode, it just beeps and does not respond. When
I select Key mode, it highlights it and restarts, but it comes back
in Behind the Key mode.

I have tried from both the console and WinSPM. I have erased the
system several times. Nothing is working.

Has anyone tackled this before? If so, how did you get it to work?

Never encountered this, but I would try taking any backup file you have from another system that's in hybrid mode, upgrade it to R3 if needed, and upload that to the processor. I would expect that to take, then doing a full default from there may solve it.

Let us know how you do with this - now I'm curious.

WOULD IT BE SILLY TO ASK IF YOU HAVE VISITED THE DIP SETTINGS?

Not as silly as it might appear on the surface. You can briefly remove the jumper near the caps (batteries) on the processor board to hard default the board - I've had tech support advise me to do that once for a board that was acting wonky when the normal default procedure wasn't clearing it up.

Suggest you give it a try.

Remove the Processor and look for a bank of 2 dip switches. It is located at the back of the card where it makes contact to the backplane make sure the dips are in the OPEN possition (upwards)

Remove Processor and look for 2 dip switches close to the backplane of the card. These dip should be in the open possition or upwards. Fix it and enjoy your Hybrid/PBX mode.
