interfacing laptop to legend

I have the 355AF, and I have the software, but I'm not sure what cable I need to use to do this.

Re: interfacing laptop to legend

From the Legend to the 355AF, you will need a regular RJ45 (Cat5) Cable.

From the 355AF to your computer, you will need a 25 Pin to 9 Pin adapter, with the proper gender changing to match the 355AF and the SERIAL PORT of your Laptop.

The SERIAL PORT (If you have one) is a 9 Pin Connector.

If you do not have a 9 Pin Port, and most new laptops do not, you will have to get a USB to Serial adapter.

The ADMIN or the SMDR port on the Processor module, depending on what you are trying to use your laptop for.
