I know that this is an unlikely product, but I have a customer application that would be met best by the combination of a digital, solid state MOH device and a very basic (single voicemail box) voicemail/answering machine functionality. I have looked at all the major providers of MOH devices and none of them - probably for good reason - have a device like this. Does anyone know of an off-the-wall or not so off-the-wall company that provides anything like this.

Why does it need to be built into the same box? Doesn't seem that they are particularily complementary. A music source for a Magix needs to interface to a trunk port, while a VM/TAD needs a Tip/Ring port. You could use a simple answering machine, or even one with several "mailboxes", put it as the only member of a calling group, set it as auto login, NOT integrated VMI, and have it be the group coverer to take messages for multiple extensions. Or, take a Tip/Ring port, have it cover an extension with either primary coverage/delayed ring, or secondary coverage for coverage of a particular extension. Enough ports and enough machines can give you "poor man's" voice mail.
