magix w/supertrunk
i thought i was installing a pri on a magix today, but found out yesterday it is a supertrunk, not pri. anyone have any notes or links to any docs on setting up a magix 4.0 with a supertrunk?
thanks, tim |

Re: magix w/supertrunk
Nothing to it - if we're talking about the same thing, a supertrunk (although deliverd to cust prem on T1) is going to supply the pbx with a number of analog lines, via a carrier supplied channel bank. Just set them up exactly the same way you would any analog lines - you don't need your DS1 board.

Re: magix w/supertrunk
yes, it is delivered on a t1, but it is not broke out into analog lines. everything i have found on them suggest they will program a lot like a pri, but will use all 24 channels and not have a d-channel. hopefully i can get it figured out. if not, i will see if i can wrangle my local avaya tech into helping me with it. :)
thanks, tim |
