Messaging on a Magix

I have a Magix with a Messaging on it. I initially had two auto att. set up for two different companies that were on the system. The company on AA 2 has left and Co. 1 has added two more lines in place of the others lines. Now i can't get AA 1 to answer these lines as well. I have taken them out of line assignment on AA 2 and reassigned them to AA 1. The messaging will confirm that there are no lines assigned to AA 2 and that the lines are assigned to AA 1. They are still being answered by AA 2. How is this happening? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Messaging on a Magix

Print out your huntgroup information (be sure to print all groups). Chances are you will find those 2 lines assigned to a hunt group with no members, set to overflow to your VMS group.

In the VMS you will find a mailbox that corresponds to the hunt group number (eg. 789) that is an AA mailbox pointing to AA2.

You could either change that MB to point to AA1 (easiest) or move the lines out of that hunt group, and into whichever one handles your AA1 calls (perhaps the VMS group itself) - the second makes future maintenance easier.
