upgrading from legend r5 to r7 Help

HI
we are going to upgrade legend from a R5 to a R7
and my question is can i backup my data from the r5 woth winspm and restore it r7 ?

Yes, of course. Backup to your laptop, convert the database to R7, upgrade your processor, then restore the converted database.

That is if you have the proper version of WinSPM, otherwise it will not convert to R7

1. Log into Merlin
2. Backup to Flash card
3. From first screen select backup to your laptop
4. In winSPM do a file convert to R7
5. Replace/Flash processor
6. From first screen select Restore
7. Restore your converted file to Merlin
Follow the yellow brick road, should take about 45 minutes (give or take)

You do have a CKE4 or better processor, right.
