Legend PRI

I have a legend, r6 i think, that i have networked to a definity right now. they will be moving to another location and using a pri from my local rboc. it does not look like there are major changes to the ds1 programming to accomplish this. anyone have any thoughts on this?

Re: Legend PRI

Is it set to PRI mode now, or T1? You're right, the changes aren't a big deal but there will probably be some things that have to be modified.

Re: Legend PRI

it is in pri mode now. looks like basically changing it to a DMS switch instead of legend-network, getting rid of the non-local udp tables, removing the inserted '9' so it doesn't have to be dialed twice, and maybe a couple other things i can't recall at the moment. that sound about right to you?

Yep. Bear in mind when you change it to DMS you will have to manually reprogram your b-channels and lines. You may have to adjust your call-by-call services table also. But it sounds like you've got a grip on it.

Re: Legend PRI

I wouldn't assume that. You may have to use table 0 to match every possible entry (0-9) and set it to No Service.
