New to the Group

O.k. I got thrown into this whole telcom thing by my boss and know squat about it, well maybe a little. I need to setup one of my remote offices to be able to dial the 555-1212 for information. This sounds easy but I can't figure it out. I am running merlin with Intuity VMS. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am a long time system admin only on server side not Telcom.

Merlin Legend? Magix? If either, no problem, you can remotely administer with SPM or WinSPM software. Do you already know how to connect, move around the menus a bit? What you want to do is find a disallow list that contains "5551212" and remove that entry. Let us know if you need more specific guidance.

If you're going to be doing administration henceforth, suggest you go to support.avaya.com and download the Legend or Magix feature reference manual (depends on what you've got).

If you've got a Merlin 1 or Merlin 2, you'll have to get somebody on site.
