Merlin Plus 820D and Copy Button?

Thought I'd give it a shot here amongst the experts! ;)

In the programming guide for the Merlin Plus 820D, they refer to a "Copy" button to copy one voice terminal template to another. Problem is there is no BIS phone in my possesion that has one. The same thing can be said for the "Administration" button but at least it has a keypad equivalent of #49 that does the same thing as pressing that button.

That gets to my question..."Is there a keypad equivalent for this Copy button too?"

Payton payton payton - I think the real question here is why haven't you got that merlin plus filling the important role of keeping your sailboat from floating away instead of occupying valuable space on the wall of your telecom closet??

*grin*

Sorry bud - I programmed a Merlin Plus *ONCE* but I had nightmares about it for years afterwards.... ;)

Suggest you upgrade to a Merlin Legend which can also take the BIS sets - or better yet toss the whole works and go for a Merlin Magix or IP Office.

On the 22 button BIS set, the copy button is the bottom most button of the long row. In normal mode it functions as the LND button, with the SND button right above it. I believe it is in the same position for the 34 button set.

THE 820D2 system is one of the most reliable systems around.....sure its old but with those BIS phones which have full-duplex speakerphones....you cant beat em...

Just my 2 cents...
