I am trying to use hyperterminal to default a 007 MLM. When I enter the serial number, is says invalid. could this have been changed? Is there another back door password?

You are sure that you are using the last 6 numbers of the serial number? It should be the second password it asks you for. The first shuld be 123456, then you hit 9 then enter the last 6 digits, if it works, it will log you off by saying goodbye..

My bad, I just saw that you were using hyperterminal. The version I listed was for being at the KSU

if the 6 digit serial isn't working, someone probably replaced the hard drive without reserializing it to match the sn on the board. avaya can get in an reserialize it for you.

that was the case. I found another source to initialize cheaper than Avaya does.
