How to disable the outgoing name on PRI

Our company name is changed and we want to disable/ delete the old name

I have disabled this station wise but there is a problem with some people not accepting blocked

need help !!

If you are refering to calling party name display (a Meridian one feature), just remove the name delivery method from the programming of your D channel. If you are talking about caller ID, which keys off of your ANI that you're sending out (CLID in LD 15), then the name that is displayed on caller ID boxes of people you call comes from a centrally located name server that the called party's end office references before sending the caller ID string to the subscriber line. You can probably fake it out by putting a CLID in your system that is for an analog line (modem, fax, etc..) that you have recently ordered and had installed by your local exchange carrier. I have had collection agencies and police stations request that I don't send any ANI info so that deadbeats wouldn't know who was calling or in the case of the cop shop, home invaders wouldn't know that it was the E911 center calling back after a hangup. This creates a different problem in that some end offices (not all) may reject the call based on the absents of ANI.
