We just discovered that if we call forward to "9" that is our access to external dial.... if you call that phone, you will be able to dial anywhere.
The problem, is that we have CFXA on all the phones since our employees need to call forward their phones to their cells or home since they are often on the road. How can I set a minimum number of digits? And then prevent this kind of issue? Thanks |

Re: Call Forward security issue
depending on the number of employees that NEED external call forward....
set up a phantom acd queue or phantom 500 with the employees cell number programmed in the ncfw prompt set the employee cls to cfxd and then have the employee forward the phone to the phantom acd queue? Just speeking off the top of my head here, clearly you will need to test my theory first..... that way you control where the employee forwards the phone. On the flip side it could be an administrative nightmare..... |
