not abled to configure callwaiting in ip phone 2001

Hi
i we are using an MG 1000 with RLS 5 .i am not abled to configure call waiting option in any of the keys of i2001 p2 ip phone.any one call help me.

Key number assignments

A maximum of nine functions can be assigned to the four soft-labeled, predefined
soft keys. Because they are pre-defined, the user cannot change the
key number assignment. Functions are assigned to the soft keys in layers in
LD 11.
The Message key is numbered 16. Key numbers 17 to 31 are the four soft key
labels below the display area. See Figure 1 on

page 41.
Key numbers 17 to 31 support the features A03, A06, CFW, CHG, CPN,
PRK, PRS, RGA, RNP, SCC, SCU, SSC, SSU, and TRN. See
Appendix Appendix I:: “IP Phone soft keys” on page 619 for a description of
these features.
Key number assignments at the Call Server are aligned with that of the
IP Phone 2002. The mappings between IP Phone 2001 soft key numbers and
PBX CPU key numbers are the same as on the IP Phone 2002 and IP Phone

2004.

The way i am configuring is

enabling the SWA option in CLS

assigning a key as CWT

when i assign any key as CWT it gives me error stating that these keys are pre defined and can be configured for XXXX only.the XXXX option doesnt show the CWT option in it.

Between your experiance with the i2001 and what they have written in the documentation for the i2001 the only way you will get cwt on a key is to upgrade the set to an i2002.
Either that or see if you can use flexable feature codes and dial in the feature with the spre code.
