Post Meridian Home Office II(MHO II) password reset procedure.

Shivaź Integrator 150/200/500
Resetting the Administration Password on Shivaź AccessPort and Shivaź Integrator

Note: This procedure depends upon the software release on the unit (see step 6).

Steps

To reset the administration password on Shivaź AccessPort and Shivaź; Integrator 100, 150, and 200:

Connect a terminal or PC with terminal emulation software to the administration port of the unit (line settings).
Power on the unit. The following message appears:
System starting: ESC for setup:

3. Press Escape, and the following message appears:

Run/Test/Setup: S

4. Type S to enter setup mode. As shown next, from the menu, select option 1) User and enter the following password: abyss

Router Setup Application

Version 1.1.0 (16 Feb 1995)

Checking........ready

=== Setup ===

1) User 2) ISDN 3) Factory

0) Restart unit

Option: 1

Password: *****

5. As shown next, from the menu, select option 3) Delete file(s).

=== User ===

1) Directory of files
2) Display a file
3) Delete file(s)
4) Delete all user configuration

0) Previous menu

Option: 3

Note: On some products, the previous menu may contain more options.

6. When prompted by:

File(s) to delete:

delete the correct file according to the software version running on the unit, as shown:

V4 Integrator : user.sys
V5 Integrator : password.sys
V6 Integrator : passoath.sys
V1 AccessPort : passoath.sys

This resets the administration password to the default, "hello."
