Depends on the country of origin, what type of switch is being used, what type of trunks, etc. Do you have a specific problem you are trying to resolve?

Sorry, but what I was referring to is the type of system/trunks on the originating side. These will affect whether CID is available and in what format. Also in play are things like VoIP for global routing of calls and whether they are calling toll-free or toll charges apply.
Caller ID presentation is just not reliable enough to route calls. (I've been building contact centres for several years now, trust me on this.) If you want to differentiate your calls, better to give them different numbers to call and route them based on the DNIS you receive from telco.
