Option 81c Cisco Interface
Hey guys...
We're looking to interface a Cisco IP system with our current PBX. We're meeting a little resistance with Verizon (they are our current solution provider) I think I can handle the configuration of the PRI card if I only knew for sure which card to use in the PBX. Can any one shed light? Basically, we just need a PRI circuit to connect to the Cisco box. Thanks in advance, Russ |

Re: Option 81c Cisco Interface
The exact card and configuration depends on your system. You will need the T-1 interface such as a TMDI card (small system) or something like a Dual Port DTI/PRI card (large system). You will also need an MSDL card, MSDL daughter board, or some other interface for the DCH if yo uare planning on a PRI circuit. Finally, I would recomend QSIG signalling for your DCH protocol if you are planning on a PRI interface.
