Re: How to configure a group pick up?
To create Hunt Groups you need to use LD18 to store the extensions in the Group Hunt List and LD57, which assigns the Pilot DN to the Group Hunt List.
LD 18 REQ NEW TYPE GHT CUST 0 LSNO (Next List Number) DNSZ (Directory Number Size) SIZE (Size of list, How many entries) STOR 00 XXXX (XXXX = Directory Number) WRT (C/R) STOR 01 XXXX (XXXX = Directory Number) Continue with store entries until list completed. Attaching a Pilot DN (PLDN) to the list number LD 57 REQ CHG TYPE FFC CUST 0 CODE PLDN PLDN (Pilot Directory Number, which must be a unique number on the Meridian) USE GPHT (Group Hunting) LSNO List number created in LD 18) HTYP (RRB=Round Robin, LIN = Linear) CFWI (NO = Skip Extn if CFW Activated YES = Terminate on Extn if CFW Activated) MQUE (ALL = No limit on queued Calls 0 = No calls to be queued 1 = Maximum of 1 call queued) Anytime you encounter a SCH Code refer to your manual. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Pick-Up Groups Feature Description Meridian 1 provides three methods of picking up calls which are ringing unanswered at other extensions. The method used depends whether the ringing extension is in your pick-up group or not. This feature can be used by both analogue and digital sets; the latter can have a dedicated feature key if preferred. The three methods are:- Answer Call Pick-Up This enables you to pick up calls within your own group. Directed Pick-Up This allows you to pick up calls in other pick-up groups using the DN of the ringing extension. Answer Group Pick-Up This allows you to pick up calls in other pick-up groups using the group number of the ringing extension. Groups are identified by a "Ringing Number Pick-Up Group" (RNPG) number (1 - 4095). A value of 0 indicates that the extension is not a member of a group. For either analogue or digital sets the Pick-Up Group (RNPG) must be specified and the Class of Service (PUA, DPUA, GPUA) set depending which of the three pick-up methods is required by the user. Example In this example an analogue TN 9 7 has been added to Pick-Up Group 2 and has been assigned all three methods of picking up calls. LD 10 Load Program 10. REQ CHG Change TYPE 500 TN 9 7 ECHG YES Easy Change is used ITEM RNPG2 Ringing Number Pick Up Group2 ITEM CLS PUA DPUA GPUA Pickup,Directed Pickup,Group Pickup ITEM Last edited by Colin; May 27th, 2006 at 12:38 PM. |
