I am assuming that this is for Meridian Mail.
You should have a DID set up as the Meridian Mail access number and the user would call this number and the system will ask for their mailbox number and password. You can also have the user call their own phone number and when the call is forwarded to their voice mailbox they can press " * 8 1 " and they will be promped for the mailbox number and password. when you access Meridian Mail from an outside number (cell phone, etc.) the prompts are the same as they are when you call from your desk phone. |

It does not matter either call pilot or mermail. just map the SDN in call pilot (VSDN in mermail) for voice messaging to a DID number or if you have a direct line that can be dedicated for this purpose via ATDN in LD 14.
Or as what mentioned on the previous post, wait to be prompted by voice messaging system, then press *81. |
